Exceptional flavours are created in a unique environment. Valamo’s Arctic Wines made from berries, historic distilled spirits and other unique, artisan beverages are crafted in monastic tranquillity using traditional recipes carefully guarded by the monks.
We favour organic and locally sourced ingredients cultivated on the monastery’s own land and in the herb garden, or picked from the nearby forests. In the peaceful grounds of the monastery, the ingredients are unhurriedly refined into beverages to enjoy with food or give as gifts.
